Fleet Dashboard

In Arabicلوحة معلومات الأسطول

In short

A single screen of charts and counters that shows the fleet's key figures at a glance, before anyone opens a report.

What is a fleet dashboard?

A fleet dashboard condenses thousands of readings into a few indicators: how many vehicles are moving now, how many are stopped or offline, the latest alarms and violations, and how far the fleet has driven today. Its job is a quick judgement; detailed analysis belongs in reports.

A useful dashboard filters by branch or site, so each supervisor sees only what he is responsible for and management sees the whole picture.

How it works

  1. 1Trackers stream position and status
  2. 2System updates live and 24-hour figures
  3. 3Supervisor filters by branch or site

Why does a fleet dashboard matter?

Fleet problems usually show up first as a number out of line: too many vehicles offline, a spike in violations, half the trucks still in the yard at nine. A supervisor who sees those numbers every morning deals with the problem that day, instead of finding it in the monthly report after it has happened many times.

What you gain

  • Morning check in a minute
  • Spots offline vehicles fast
  • Separate view per branch

How does Safee help you see the state of the fleet at a glance?

Safee's Dashboard brings together about 21 widgets, including vehicle status, assigned drivers, 24-hour distance and the latest alarms and violations. It follows the company structure, so each branch sees its own figures. Any widget can be downloaded as an image or an Excel table for management meetings.

A field example

Jeddah · Last-mile e-commerce delivery

A last-mile delivery company in Jeddah ran 200 vans from three hubs and kept missing its first delivery wave. Filtering the dashboard by hub showed that at one hub 30% of vans still had no assigned driver at 8:30, and several were not communicating. The hub manager moved driver check-in earlier and had the faulty trackers fixed within a week. A month later on-time departures from that hub had risen from 70% to 94%.

Frequently asked questions

What should a fleet dashboard show?

Current vehicle status, offline vehicles, the latest alarms and violations, distance and utilisation, all filterable by branch or site.

What is the difference between a dashboard and reports?

A dashboard is a quick picture of now and the last day; reports cover longer periods in detail and support comparison and export.
