Live Vehicle Tracking

Live Vehicle Tracking

Safee’s Management offers a powerful and intuitive dashboard system designed to provide direct, real-time monitoring of all fleet activities, combined with historical analysis and automated reporting. This platform empowers fleet managers, operational teams, and executives with the tools they need to oversee vehicle status, driver performance, and asset utilization—visually, efficiently, and accurately.

Fleet Overview at a Glance

The system’s main dashboard consists of over 21 interactive components, each providing a visual summary of key operational metrics. These components are automatically filtered based on the user’s selected company structure, ensuring relevance and clarity for every department and management level.

Key modules include:

  • Vehicle Status: Live visualization of vehicles by status—such as active, under maintenance, in workshop, stolen, or sold.
  • Assigned Drivers: Identifies vehicles with or without assigned drivers, supporting manual or automated driver assignments.
  • GPS Signal Strength: Differentiates vehicles with strong vs. weak GPS connectivity.
  • Recent Communication: Highlights vehicles that are currently online or have been disconnected for over two hours.
  • Speed Classification: Automatically categorizes vehicles by current speed, offering an instant view of driving behavior across the fleet.
  • Geo-Units Insight: Shows the top 10 geofences with the number of vehicles inside each—ideal for tracking fleet distribution by region, city, or site.
  • Mileage and Vehicle Workload: Displays the distance traveled and working hours per vehicle, helping assess utilization levels and performance.
  • Driver Workload: Groups drivers based on driving hours, from less than 4 hours to more than 16, highlighting efficiency and fatigue risks.
  • Violations & Alarms: Presents daily violation stats and recent alarms, allowing managers to take immediate corrective actions.
  • User Activity: Lists online/offline users to help monitor team activity.
  • Communication Health: Evaluates tracker unit performance based on last communication timestamps.
  • Events & Tracker Messages: Details tracker-generated events (like power disconnection) and message volume over the past 24 hours.
  • Scheduled Reports: Displays upcoming automated reports scheduled for email delivery.

Each widget can be exported as an image (PNG) or as an Excel file, making it easy to share insights or document fleet activity.

Real-Time Vehicle-Level Monitoring

For detailed insight into a specific vehicle, the Vehicle Dashboard provides an in-depth view accessible via the main map or message table. This tool is designed to support continuous, real-time tracking, with map auto-centering and interactive data displays.

What sets Safee apart is its ability to concentrate your monitoring efforts on the most critical vehicles. Fleet managers can track multiple vehicles simultaneously with updates as frequent as every second, all displayed on a dedicated monitoring screen. This high-frequency, focused tracking helps ensure that sensitive operations or high-risk assets are always under control—especially useful during emergencies, mission-critical deliveries, or while overseeing key drivers.

The vehicle dashboard includes:

  • Live Location Tracking: Follow the vehicle in real time, with zoom options for better visual clarity.
  • Vehicle & Driver Details: Instantly access speed, GPS satellite signal, tracker status, and driver information.
  • Recent Alarms: View the last five alarms triggered for the selected vehicle.
  • Historical Filters: Analyze data over predefined periods—24 hours, one week, one month, or three months.
  • Performance Indicators: Includes engine speed, fuel consumption (via CANbus or estimated rate), and mileage.
  • Speed and Status Statistics: Breaks down driving behavior and vehicle usage (running, idle, towed) across selected timeframes.
  • Alarm and Event Analysis: Displays hardware and software alarms, as well as GPS hardware events for deeper diagnostics.
  • Violations Summary: Shows the number of configured violations triggered, helping to track driver compliance.
  • Geofence Activity: Highlights the time spent within configured geofences—useful for route efficiency and zone compliance monitoring.

Both hardware alarms (triggered directly by GPS devices) and software alarms (configured within the system) are logged and visualized for quick evaluation and follow-up.
