Fleet Analytics
In Arabicتحليلات الأسطول
Studying tracking, fuel, maintenance and driver data over time to find patterns and their causes, and turning them into decisions on cost, safety and utilisation.
What is fleet analytics?
Tracking tells you where a vehicle is now; analytics tells you what the past month or year means. It combines movement, fuel, maintenance and driver-behaviour data and compares it across vehicles, branches and periods to answer practical questions: which vehicles are surplus, and why one branch burns more fuel than the others.
KPIs tell you that a number moved; analytics looks for the reason it moved.
How it works
- 1Devices and sensors send data
- 2System aggregates it over time
- 3Comparison reveals patterns and causes
Why does fleet analytics matter?
Data alone cuts no costs. Analysis is what shows that part of the fleet works only a few hours a day, that one branch burns more fuel without reason, or that certain drivers' violations are climbing. Big decisions come out of those findings, such as cancelling a vehicle purchase or moving vehicles between sites.
What you gain
- Decisions based on patterns
- Compares branches and vehicles
- Exposes hidden waste
How does Safee help you analyse fleet data?
Safee brings movement, fuel and driver data into dashboards and reports that filter by branch or department and summarise results as totals and averages per vehicle. Any table exports to Excel for joining with your finance and maintenance records, so the analysis rests on measured figures rather than estimates.
A field example
A construction contractor in Abu Dhabi with 140 machines and trucks was planning to hire 12 more trucks. Comparing three months of truck utilisation across its sites showed 18 trucks at two sites working under three hours a day. It moved them to the busy sites instead of hiring, saving about AED 600,000 a year.
Frequently asked questions
How is fleet analytics different from fleet tracking?
Tracking shows position and status in real time; analytics summarises data over time to reveal patterns and support decisions.
What data does fleet analytics need?
Distance, operating and idle hours, fuel, maintenance history, driver violations and operating costs.
How is fleet analytics different from fleet KPIs?
KPIs are fixed figures that measure results; analytics digs into the data to explain why those figures changed.
