Due Maintenance

In Arabicالصيانة المستحقة

In short

Service jobs that have reached their due point but are not yet closed; they stay open until done and resolved with cost.

What is due maintenance in fleet management?

When a vehicle meets its maintenance trigger, the scheduled service becomes due work. Watching that list daily, and what is overdue in it, is the core of running a workshop.

In Safee due tasks appear in the Due Tasks Explorer, filtered by status: new, in progress or resolved. Each task is resolved with the spare parts and cost used, and the time from due to resolved is measured.

How it works

  1. 1Task falls due and is listed
  2. 2Marked in progress when work starts
  3. 3Closed with cost and parts

Why does due maintenance matter in fleet management?

Due maintenance that is never closed piles up quietly until a vehicle fails. When cost and parts are recorded at every resolution, the maintenance log becomes data showing what each vehicle costs and how long it spends in the workshop, instead of scattered invoices.

What you gain

  • Clear daily list for workshop
  • Cost and parts per vehicle
  • Real resolution time measured

How does Safee help you track due maintenance?

Safee gathers every due service into one daily workshop list and records cost, parts and repair time when each is closed. Overdue work no longer piles up unseen, and the maintenance log becomes cost and downtime figures per vehicle.

A field example

Muscat · Staff transport

A Muscat staff-transport company with 35 buses had 12 due maintenance tasks nobody had followed up, because the workshop ran from a paper notebook. The supervisor began checking the due list in Safee each morning and marking a task in progress when a bus entered the workshop. Within two months overdue tasks fell to two and average resolution time dropped from nine days to two.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between due and overdue maintenance?

Due maintenance has reached its service point and is waiting to be done; overdue maintenance has passed it without being done, and that is what raises breakdown risk.

What is the difference between total resolution time and working time?

Total resolution time runs from the task falling due to resolution; working time runs from the start of work to resolution. The gap is waiting time.
