Loading and Offloading Detection
In Arabicرصد التحميل والتفريغ
Automatically logging every loading or unloading event from weight-sensor data, with quantity, time and place.
What is loading and offloading detection in fleet management?
Rather than the driver's word or delivery notes, weight data shows when the load went up or down, by how much and where. You know the full load reached the customer and none of it was dropped along the way.
In Safee's Loading and Offloading alarm conditions, an event starts when weight changes by more than the minimum loading or unloading threshold, ignoring small swings, and ends once weight has been steady for longer than the idle duration tolerance, so a loader pausing between buckets does not split it. The result is a log of every event and a daily balance of loaded and unloaded weight.
How it works
- 1Weight changes beyond the minimum
- 2System follows it until weight settles
- 3Quantity, time and place are logged
Why does loading and offloading detection matter in fleet management?
Unloading in the wrong place means theft or side-selling; short loading means a customer pays for goods that never arrived. A log confirmed by weight and location settles customer disputes and exposes tampering without checking invoices by hand.
What you gain
- Off-site unloading caught
- Delivered quantity proven
- Daily loading and unloading balance
How does Safee help with loading and offloading detection?
Safee detects loading and unloading from weight sensors and raises an instant alarm when a load is dropped away from approved depots and customer sites. The Load Tracking Report totals daily loaded and unloaded weight per vehicle with the balance, so matching against invoices takes minutes.
A field example
A sand and gravel supplier in Dammam found gaps of up to 6% between loaded and invoiced quantities. It added an alarm for any unloading over 500 kg outside approved sites. Within two weeks it caught three trucks tipping part of their load at a side yard. Once those cases were dealt with, the gap fell below 1%.
Frequently asked questions
How is unauthorised unloading detected?
By matching weight loss to the vehicle's location: a drop in load outside approved sites is an unauthorised unload.
Can tanker filling and emptying be detected the same way?
Yes. The tanker's weight readings are converted to litres, so every fill and discharge is logged with quantity and place.
